Slime Volleyball 2004
(http://www.chriscoyne.com/slime/) Second best slime volleyball game ever...I'm surprised that I haven't made a section on how to beat this game yet. This game's difficulty lies in its ability to simulate a real human being by "shaking" back and forth. This helps make it capable of getting the shots way back and the shots right at the net. But, if you play him right, you can use this against him. This game has only one level.
Serves:
  • Dont worry to much over getting an ace every time with serves against this guy. Well, the hardest serve to defend (the tip serve) is taken away so its a little cheap. The serve I use on this guy is is similar: Do the tip serve up to the point where you jump the second time (hitting it long). Obviously it won't let you jump the second time anyway. I think this is actually called the bastard serve, but call it whatever you want. When the slime returns your serve, he should be trying to spike it close to the net on your side. When he does this, without jumping, try to punch it over his head. The ball should land in the far corner.
  • Many of his serves, he will set you up for a spike. Don't let these easy points be taken away. Be close to the net ready to spike them down.
    Tips:
  • Try to vary the depths of the balls you shoot. If you do this correctly, finish him off with a sharp spike down in his ugly pathetic face.
  • It might not let you jump during the serve, but during play, use this to your advantage. There's a reason it doesnt let you jump during the serve. It's pretty difficult to set up a good tip serve during play, andunless you do it correctly, the computer won't come to the net, and will easily be able to get the ball that you tried to hit deep. The trick is to hit the ball on your side a couple of times until the ball is relatively close to the middle of your side. Smack the ball back, and barely skim the ball over his head. When you try to do this though, you run the risk of barely missing the ball and him spiking it right under you back on your side.
